Terchovská koliba Diery, a direct part of the Diery hotel, is a well-known and renowned traditional Slovak restaurant. This authentic Terchová coliba is located on the ground floor of the hotel, and you can enter it either through the terrace or the hotel reception. A large fireplace adds cosiness to both the interior and exterior of the coliba, perfectly complementing the authentic atmosphere.

Honest home cooking is based on selected fresh ingredients, mostly from local producers. Chefs from old Terchová families guarantee preparation according to honest old recipes and a gastronomic experience for all who love the real Slovak cuisine. 

A menu proven over years, seasonal and daily specials, as well as minor changes and additions according to your preferences, are a guarantee of satisfaction for lovers of traditional Slovak cuisine in the Terchová style.

In our menu, you'll find a wide range of dishes which we also prepare in gluten-free, lactose-free, or vegan versions. Of course, we always try to meet our customers' other requests for minor modifications to dishes.

In addition to great food, you will always find a fairly wide selection of popular Slovak wines and a choice of lagers and specialities from small Slovak craft breweries.

There are plenty of monitored parking spaces in front of the restaurant. The car park is chargeable, but the first 90 minutes are free. Overnight guests have parking included in the price of their stay and can enjoy discounts in the restaurant.

It has become a tradition for us that in our restaurant, we regularly offer tasting dinners for our guests accompanied by the best Terchová music. For over ten years, at the entrance to Jánošík's Holes, we have been offering a five-course tasting dinner called "Terchovský večer s Ťažkou muzikou" (Terchová Evening with Heavy Music). Part of the programme is dedicated to the Jánošík tradition, which the guys from Ťažká muzika will tell you about. And not only that. They will play, sing and joke, as only they know how to.


From 2024, we will also be offering a Christmas-themed programme at our Terchová cottage. "Christmas with Pupov" is also a five-course tasting dinner accompanied by the excellent Terchová music group Pupov. You can taste how food and drink were traditionally enjoyed in Terchová on Christmas Eve and listen to Terchová songs dedicated to this time of year.
